UNDER OUR SKIN BY BENJAMIN WATSON

Benjamin Watson, husband to Kirsten and father of seven, is a former American football tight end. He was drafted by the New England Patriots 32nd overall in the 2004 NFL Draft and later he would win Super Bowl XXXIX with the team over the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at Georgia. Watson has also played for the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, and New Orleans Saints. In this challenging look at race, bias, and justice, Benjamin speaks from his deepest heart to articulate what many of us think and feel. Part memoir and part social commentary, Under Our Skin offers an honest look at both sides of the race debate and appeals to the power and possibility of faith as a step toward healing. Benjamin was on campus last Fall and spoke to our Bison football players. We have a limited number of signed copies on hand.

"Such a relevant book for the time in which we find ourselves. Benjamin does an excellent job of weaving his personal narrative alongside current events. Informative and engaging, it's a quick read that will stay in your head. "
